Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offered decent rooms with some drawbacks, such as old baths and stained carpets, but overall clean and cheaply furnished. The unbearable heat in the room was a major discomfort. The service was friendly, yet some improvements in serving guests efficiently are needed. The convenient location as a base to explore the Peak District was a highlight, though there were instances of missing basic items like towels. The dining experience was mostly positive, with a few delays and higher prices. The facilities were adequate, but some issues were noted.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The rooms were a wonderful size and starting to upgrade, making them cozy and comfortable. The food was excellent, and the lovely little courtyard added to the charm. I will definitely stay there again.
The hotel had some drawbacks like noise from the petrol station and loud music from an event but offered clean rooms with a very comfy bed. The staff was helpful and the hotel was conveniently located for sightseeing.
